Project Brief
Develop a series of MIS reports to form a standardised Board Pack to measure the effectiveness of the organisation's sales and marketing activities.
The reports should be able to be run on demand and provide a standardised way of measuring performance month on month, quarter on quarter.
Reports should combine both charts and numbers and incorporate the companies branding and colour schemes.
Solution Implemented
A series of SQL Reporting Services reports were delivered using the clients Dynamics CRM system as the primary data source. As the reporting requirements were beyond the capabilities of FetchXML the FilterViews were used which allowed us to use the full power SQL.
Each report and sub report were crafted to be able to run either standalone or as part of the larger board pack enabling the ad-hoc use of the reports as needed.
